Betterment Advisor Solutions provides a cutting-edge platform for financial advisors seeking innovative ways to enhance their wealth management services. We are currently looking for an Advisor Success Manager to build and nurture relationships with advisors using the Betterment platform. In this role, you will partner directly with advisors to ensure seamless onboarding, optimize platform usage, and support the growth of their wealth management practices.
This is a client-facing role where you will leverage your relationship management skills to help advisors succeed in serving their clients. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service to advisor clients.
This role is remote eligible. Below we've reflected the base salary range we would offer for this position in locations with city or state requirements. For those located elsewhere, the actual compensation offered will be based on candidate experience and geographic location. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.

<ul>
<li>Cultivate and expand relationships with a growing book of financial advisor clients</li>
<li>Align with advisors on their business objectives and support them in delivering enhanced value to their end clients</li>
<li>Partner with internal teams, including sales, operations, support, and product, to ensure a smooth ongoing experience for existing advisors and assist them with adopting new products & features</li>
<li>Provide training, education, and ongoing support to advisors, empowering them to maximize the Betterment platform</li>
<li>Proactively identify and address client risks, strategizing ways to mitigate churn and strengthen advisor relationships</li>
<li>Represent the voice of the advisor to internal stakeholders, contributing insights that influence product development and enhancements</li>
<li>Serve as a main point of contact for support issues, questions, and escalations</li>
<li>Support advisors in growing their client base by delivering insights, tools, and best practices to optimize their use of Betterment’s platform and services</li>

<h2>What we’re looking for</h2>

<li>Experience in Client Success, Account Management, or similar role within the financial services or SaaS industry, managing enterprise or advisor relationships</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively engage with clients in verbal, written, and presentation formats</li>
<li>Proven ability to deepen client relationships, leading to high retention rates and business growth</li>
<li>Enthusiasm for advisor-driven solutions and a client-first mindset</li>
<li>Experience with wealth management, advisory services, or financial technology (FinTech) is preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of ZenDesk, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools</li>
<li>Familiarity with investment management or financial advisory practices</li>

In this player/coach role, you’ll lead Product Managers and directly oversee an engineering squad, managing multiple high-impact projects while delving into technical details as needed. <li>Oversee product teams responsible for our investment strategies and portfolio technology, which are fundamental to our role as a wealth manager for clients.</li>
<li>Partner closely with our investing SMEs to bridge their portfolio expertise with the software that delivers those portfolios to nearly a million clients.</li>
<li>Deeply understand our target clients, championing functionality that enriches their investing experience and drives business value.</li>
<li>Lead the multi-year investing roadmap, identifying new investment strategies, asset classes, or account capabilities that we should offer in order to better serve our clients.</li>
<li>Balance the needs of investors across all three lines of business: retail clients, advised clients, and 401(k) participants.</li>

<li>Collaborate with Customer Experience and adjacent Operations teams to address inquiries involving account transfers, risk management, and onboarding for higher touch account types, such as LLCs, Trusts, and Estates. </li>
<li>Interact directly with customers to resolve high-touch cases requiring expert knowledge of how money moves into and throughout the Betterment system.</li>
<li>Partner with the Customer Experience team on operational topics to provide a unified customer experience by collaborating across Slack, Asana, and ZenDesk. </li>
<li>Drive daily financial operations, including processing account transactions and applications, monitoring risk across the business, fielding third-party requests, and managing data streams that directly support the Betterment platform. </li>
<li>Identify and suggest improvements to operational processes that make servicing customer requests, and the overall business, more efficient and scalable.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot operational issues, investigate root causes, and collaborate with the engineering team to employ fixes.</li>
