About the Company
CSL Behring’s origins can be traced back to 1904, when Nobel Prize winning German physiologist Emil von Behring founded Behringwerke, a company that produced antitoxins and vaccines. The Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL Limited) were founded in 1916, and after a series of acquisitions that included Behringwerke’s assets, CSL established ZLB Behring.
